    New World Weaving Leveling Guide

    in General Discussions

In New World, Weaving is the Refining process of combining raw cloth fibers gathered through the Harvesting skill to produce cloth which can then be used in various Crafting applications such as creating armor. It is the perfect skill for players who want to make their own equipment from scratch without waiting to drop from enemies or quests. So this guide teaches you all you need to know about how to level up weaving fast on the island of Aeternum.

Leveling up in Weaving is a straightforward process. Players simply need to continuously turn fibers into cloth to raise their level in the skill. The more you craft, the more XP you gain. Here's what you should be crafting at certain levels to ensure your Weaving skill is increasing as fast as possible:

    • Level 1-50: Linen – requires 4 Fibers

    • Level 51-100: Sateen – requires 4 Linen, 1 Clothweave

    • Level 101-150: Silk – requires 2 Sateen, 1 Clothweave, 6 Silk Threads

    • Level 151-200: Infused Silk – requires 2 Silk, 1 Clothweave, 8

In order to upgrade your profession from 1-200, you will need more material. You can earn these materials yourself with the Harvesting profession. Also, if you have many new world gold coins, you can buy them from the trading post! It will save you a lot of time.

Also, you need to level up your Weaving Skill by refining Plant Fibers at your settlement's Loom. Looms have a Tier level which can be increased by taking on Town Projects. Note that each type of cloth has a tier-level requirement to craft. This tier level corresponds to Loom's tier level. If your settlement's Loom level does not meet the requirement, you will need to either raise it or find another settlement with a Loom of a higher tier. Turning fibers into cloth requires the player to be of the appropriate Weaving level as well.

The more your character level increases, the higher armor you'll need. Therefore, it's important to keep leveling Weaving if you are crafting your own stuff, so you are keeping up to date with the best Apparel available. Now you're a Weaving pro. Was this guide helpful?
